Corporate Endorsements
=============================

Last Friday, April 1, the Cornell Latino Alumni Association (CLAA) has a happy hour gathering at Stitch. I just wanted to thank you so much for attention in helping me organize this. The space is amazing, relaxing, and spacious. The service was the best I`ve had in NYC in a long time: the drinks were great, the food was delicious and didn`t take forever, and our waitress (didn`t get her name; red-headed woman) was extremely helpful, humorous, and didn`t leave anyone thirsty. The bartenders were great as well. Overall, we had a great time and everyone left content and happy. We will definitely recommend Stitch to our friends and colleagues, and look forward to having more events at Stitch.

Thanks again,
DR The School @ Columbia University

Hi Nicholas.
Thanks for a fabulous party and for taking such good care of us. Everyone really enjoyed themselves and they all raved about your place…many of them said they`d be back…it`s rare to find a cool,
(& clean!) place so close to the Garden…
Thanks again…

Stitch opens in NYC Garment Center

———————————————————–

In just over six months the owners of Stitch at 247 West 37th Street  (7th/8th Avenue) have transformed a former garment showroom into the new Stitch Bar & Lounge.

Stitch is destined to become an after work oasis for midtown’s workers
and growing number of residents. An ideal event location and after dark local. This brand new bi-level 5,000sq ft venue has 19th Century tall ceilings with original moldings, a mezzanine bar & private party room, kitchen facilities, excellent AV for Garden Events including 4 Plasma & 1 Large Projection Video screens, real world drink  prices and  of course a  hot music  selection, on line jukebox (140,000 songs), perfect for the starved fashion district scene desperate for a local to call their own.

The main floor features a long gracious, sweeping oak bar and high casual dining tables.  The mezzanine level with its self contained party space looks over onto the main bar which is brought out by cottage red and copper trimmed molding giving the space warn and inviting feel.

Like Fashion itself, New York and its garment center are experiencing a rebirth. With the planned Javits Expansion, New Jets Stadium, New York Times HQ and its proximity to the Garden, Penn, Port Authority and Times Square, Stitch Bar & Lounge is destined to become a popular area watering hole.

With 3 other venues in Manhattan, the owners of Stitch are no strangers to the bar business. Bookings and events will be handled by Nick Cohen, the man behind the now shuttered Soho club “Shine” and hot spot “Mission” down on the Bowery.

With it’s claim as the most user-friendly events space in Manhattan
and having already hosted the fashion week event for designer Rebecca Taylor, MTV Networks, Morgan Stanley and ESPN, Stitch is fast becoming the ‘talk of the town’ for private events and corporate parties in the midtown area.

“ Stitch – We’ve got the garment
center all sewn up ! ”
